Have been getting a ,'You do not have permission.....' message in windows 7 on a particular program. By right clicking and selecting run as Administrator everything works ok but how can I make this permanent ?
I recall it's properties in Windows explorer, then Advanced tab but where do I go from there ?
I Had a similar problem years ago but can't remember what I did to fix it.
Thanks.

Right Click the app, Properties, Compatibility, at the bottom tick 'Run this program as Administrator'
Windows 10 Firefox 109.0 (64-bit)

Not sure what the problem is.
Right click on the short cut then select properties then advanced and I get this
I assume this will fix it but I don't know as non of my programs require that

Oldjim, Strat,
Thanks for that. For some unknown reason I thought the change had to be made via properties in Windows explorer rather than on the shortcut properties.
