Working from home using a 'SIP based service'

Hi apologies if im posting this in the wrong place Smiley
Ive been offered a sales job working from home.  I will be using a dialler system, plugging a headset into my laptop etc. PlusNet have said that as its a Voip service it will come under my data plan.  Ive just red the terms and conditions before downloading the dialler program and it says:
*IMPORTANT: This is a softphone application and not a VoIP service. A SIP server or subscription with a SIP-based VoIP provider is required to make calls.*
This is all greek to me but im presuming my company will have a subscription.  I really need to know if PlusNet will charge me extra for this? The livechat is down so cant ask them....
Any help would be much appreciated!
Claire

Re: Working from home using a 'SIP based service'

As long as you're not dialling using your landline, you shouldn't incur additional costs from us.
From the sound of things it's likely to be a voice service over your broadband connection, so the only costs will be those dictated by the companies software you're using.

I'm registered with the TPS so I hope you won't be calling me.
