I've installed a netgear dongle WG111T on my PC.
It shows connected on the system tray and in the wireless lists etc but when I try opening a web page it does not open.
(Usual error message is displayed about no connection)
I am obviously missing something simple (I don't mean a brain) but I can't work this one out.
All help most welcome

What happens if you open your web browser and type in the IP address of your router (for example "192.168.1.1") into the address bar where you would normally type "www...." ?
Do you get the router's login or status page displayed ?

Can you also open a DOS command window, type "ipconfig /all" <Enter>, and post the results back in this thread.
