Hi,new to wireless.Do I need to change the router user from admin to another name or is my broadband protected enough by the wireless key?

Re: Wireless security

A good strong admin password will help prevent unauthorised access to your router.

Re: Wireless security

In other words, you have an admin username and password which allows you to access the router's settings. The wireless key is a separate password that PCs use to connect wirelessly to the router for normal internet access.
