Wireless drivers can be cause of speed issues

Hi
Just posting this in the interests of helping others, as it's not a speed cause/symptom I have seen talked about before -
I was suffering a lot of disconnects and sluggish speed from time to time and spent a lot of time doing speedtests, changing filters etc.  I then used another computer which worked much faster and more smoothly.
Turns out my wireless driver in the laptop had somehow gone a bit wonky - uninstalled and reinstalled it (very easy job) and all is now well.
Probably a fairly rare occurenence, but worth think about for anyone who has problems that they can't fix by solving the generally excellent advice given on these forums.  At the very least, a reinstall won't leave you any worse off than before.

Re: Wireless drivers can be cause of speed issues

I'll move this to the Wireless Broadband board, as its a more logical place to look for this sort of info I reckon.
Cheers for the heads up though.
