I thought the whole idea was mute as although you had it "working" it wouldn't send or was it rx?

This is a "new install"... on a new hdd... so am having the same problem as before... it does transmit and receive... but not through the comport !.. which I need to use with the USB/serial adapter attached to my morse key !... so ... it works.... but... it doesn`t work "properly". ! ! ! ...
