Windows update KB971033 may give problems if you are using a GRUB type loader

As raised here http://community.plus.net/forum/index.php/topic,86207.0.html with a link to this thread.on TBB http://forums.thinkbroadband.com/windows/f/3855382-kb971033-important.html
This has been posted and may impact you Linux users

Sorry, there are no links as yet. One thing I've noticed from the reports that I have is that it seems that affected users are multi-booting using GRUB type loaders. I think that it's these loaders that have become the innocent victims of WAT so if that is the case, it probably won't ever be widely reported.
Microsoft have been informed and I'll keep you in touch with developments.

Yes I'm aware of this oldjim and thanks for the heads up, I've got a system image of windows 7 before that update and currently letting Linux mint 9 have the whole hard drive to itself Wink
