Windows Live Mail

My wife bought a new laptop a few months back. This laptop has Windows 7 on it. This is our first experience of Win 7. Her old laptop has Win XP. Along time ago I put Mailwasher Pro on her old laptop, and it worked with Outlook Express. It still works so that we can see and get her e-mails on it.
However, she would like to get her e-mails on the new laptop which uses Win Live Mail instead of Outlook Express. I have put Mailwasher Pro on that machine too, and using Mailwasher we can see her e-mails waiting on the Plusnet server, but we cannot persuade Win Live Mail to get them. This is in spite of the fact that Win Live Mail knows her e-mail address.
What are we doing wrong, or not doing at all? What should we do?
Thanks in advance

Re: Windows Live Mail

Did she follow the instructions on configuring Live Mail for use with Mailwasher?
I found some in seconds using Google  Wink
e.g. http://www.firetrust.com/en/hotmail_pop3

Re: Windows Live Mail

Sorry for the delay. I've tried what both of you have suggested, but still no joy.
Is it possible to load Outlook Express onto Win 7? Or possibly Mozilla Thunderbird?

Re: Windows Live Mail

Thunderbird is absolutely fine on Win 7 - there's loads of us using it.
