Windows Live Local - now Bing

Has anyone else noticed that clicking on a Windows Live Local link http://local.live.com/ now brings up http://www.bing.com/maps/ and the search is rubbish.
I tried searching for my village and it didn't even come up as an option whereas the previous version had no problems and neither does Multimap which also uses Bing

Re: Windows Live Local - now Bing

jim coughs back - not the same at all
it used to work great now it doesn't
A search for Holt, Dorset comes up with Holt near  Worcester
A search for Holt, UK comes up with the above plus one near Bradford on Avon and one near Chester.
The worst part is  the search window which shows this - flaming useless whereas multimap comes up with the second picture

Many apologies, but Bing seems poor whatever you try to use it for. Grin
Maybe they should have called it Sing
