Windows 7 Service Pack 1 is here

[quote=What's included in Windows 7 Service Pack 1 (SP1)]Windows 7 Service Pack 1 (SP1) is an important update that includes previously released security, performance, and stability updates for Windows 7. SP1 also includes new improvements to features and services in Windows 7, such as improved reliability when connecting to HDMI audio devices, printing using the XPS Viewer, and restoring previous folders in Windows Explorer after restarting.

Yes, if you've done all the previous updates and everything is working fine then it just doesn't seem worth getting the Service Pack.
Will probably download and burn to disc ready in case I re-install W7 any time soon.

Does anyone see anything apart from Blank Page when following the link to Windows 7 SP1 resources page on Technet in the quote below Undecided

Re: Windows 7 Service Pack 1 is here

Well yesterday I downloaded the ISO and burned a DVD for "backup".
And today I let Windows Update do its thing - 87MB of SP1 (x64 version).
Funny thing is the system now feels a bit faster.  Huh

I ran the performance tool after installation but didn't expect any change....I wasn't disappointed.
