Re: Windows 7 Logo Key Combos

It's impossible to remember all of these key combinations and many of them are just as easily done with a single mouse click, so here are my top four (that I could actually get to work).

Re: Windows 7 Logo Key Combos

Am I the only one who finds it totally impossible to remember all or any of these keyboard shortcuts?  Embarrassed
I have a chart that I compiled and I used to have a Computeractive mouse mat with them on but still I cannot absorb them.
The only ones that I can recall (and use) are cut, copy and paste, select all, print, close current page.
Oh and the task manager one too.

No, you're not the only one poppy. I've never used a keyboard 'short cut' since the mouse was invented.

What do you mean ones that actually work, I take that as an insult on my intelligence, They ALL work.
The theory is to remember a few that may be beneficial to you like being able to lock your screen without mouse clicking!!

Re: Windows 7 Logo Key Combos

For information security reasons, we instructed to lock our computers whenever we leave our desks for any reason at all.  Until recently, the quickest way i knew to do this was  ctrl alt dlt, then enter, but then someone told me about the windows/L combination.  It's now second nature to press those 2 keys as I stand up from my desk.

No insult intended.  I couldn't get Logo Key + Pause/Break to work when I tried it earlier.  It works now but I have rebooted the computer a few times in the interim.
