I am wanting to organise my epub and pdf files using windows explorer. I have placed a number of columns Title,Author and Publisher etc on the folder properties. But I cannot change the actual file info by right click - properties - details. Any thoughts?
Fixed! Go to the fix.

Just to be clear about what you want to do, you would like, for example, to change the Author name from John Doe to Richard Roe? Or the publisher from Penguin Books to Weidenfeld and Nicholson?

I want to be able to transfer the files to my reader. I have been using Calibre for years and I feeli t is cumbersome and slow.

Some like reading list are quite good, but not on my Kindle though.
I tend to create a custom column called tbr, make it yes/no and then just sort on it, and send the files to my Kindle that way,
