yes as reported in the Times

The card game, which has soothed stressed office workers and entertained bored students since 1990, now costs £1.19 a month or £7.69 a year unless gamers can stand interruptions by 30-second adverts between hands.
and also here http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sciencetech/article-3180657/Microsoft-fire-Windows-10-users-playing-Solit... and they have just come up with a very good reason not to move from 7 to 10

Re: Windows 10 Solitaire

Just copy the old XP version (which is much better) from an old XP system System32 directory.
IIRC you just need sol.exe and cards.dll, put in the same folder anywhere you like on you non-XP system.  Wink

Re: Windows 10 Solitaire

@HPsauce,
Would it be that easy?
If you were using windows 7 or 10 how could you extract something off a windows XP installation disk ? other than installing it on a second computer and then copying the necessary files ?

Re: Windows 10 Solitaire

It is that easy if you have access to an XP installation disk (running or slaved to another system). No doubt someone somewhere will have it online to download.
