[Win10] Windows Movie Maker

Anyone know if Windows Movie Maker works on Win10?
Alternatively, I would be looking for easy to use video editing software which supports MP4, WMV and FLV  formats. The main features I'm looking for are adding titles at the beginning, adding credits at the end and cutting un-wanted bits out.

One that is free and works is VideoPad.  http://www.nchsoftware.com/videopad/
I haven't done much editing but this seems simple for things like adding title.  I can't comment on more sophisticated features or speed.

Have a look at  "Kates video toolkit 7"  does loadsa stuff !....
Avidemux 2.6 is good for simple editing... i.e chopping up into bits... like cutting the intro before a music video... and cutting the applause at the end... or with practice you can cut bits out and save for further additions to other vids...

Be a bit careful with Kate's Video Toolkit.  Both Kaspersky and Web of Trust think it may well be dodgy.  No immediate person comment on their views though ...

Re: [Win10] Windows Movie Maker

I still have "Windows Live Movie Maker" installed (this Windows 10 install was originally Windows 7, upgraded to 8, then to 8.1, now to 10) and it appears to be working.

I never understood the old saying..... "better the devil you know, rather than the one you don`t"..... until I tried Windows 10.....  then it all became clear...  Smiley

Well actually, I do have a sense of adventure  Grin
I binned Win10 on my main PC but retained it on one of my spare PC's just so that I could play about in the hope that I could make it useable.
By adding Directory Opus and Start10, I'm absolutely gob-smacked at the difference - it has to be seen to be believed!  Cool
