How do I "As a Administrator open a Command Prompt and run "SFC /SCANNOW"?
I can get the command prompt OK, I try to run the command and get the message "You must be administrator".
There is only one user of the PC.

type cmd in the search box on the start menu and leave it a few seconds. When cmd.exe appears in he programs list, right click it and select run as administrator

With all due respect to Kelly for providing a correct (and obvious) answer, HPSauce's response is pure genuis. Who would've thought that terminating the command with CTRL-SHIFT-ENTER would run it with elevated privileges?! That's definitely one to make a mental note of.
