Will the ASUS RT-N66U work with the Hub One?

Hi all, my connection isn't very stable with the Plusnet Hub One so I looked online and saw the Asus RT and I've seen people on here suggesting it as well but a lot of people are saying to connect it to the Openreach Modem.

Can I plug this directly into the Hub One and use it?

Probably, with the Hub One in bridge mode ( if that's possible ? ) Don't know about an Openreach Modem, no fibre here.

Why not get an Asus DSL-AC68U or similar and then you won't need the Hub One.

I heard that, that router wasn't so good. I ended up getting the Asus RT N6UU and I've got the open reach modem coming through the post as the hub one can't be set to modem only.

Having nothing but problems with the hub one. Constantly disconnecting all devices in the house which in turn is causing my sky mini box to keep cutting out.
