Wi-Fi sniffer software -

Can someone recommend a good Wi-Fi- 802.11b/g/n sniffer program - for the PC with Windows - rather like the ones you get with Android phones.
I just want it to monitor channels around here

I used to use inSSIDer by metageek and found it ticked all the boxes for wifi channel info.
Unfortunately v4 is now trialware but, if you search online you may be able to find the previous freeware versions.
Have found this below but have not used it,so try at your own risk, although the interface seems too white for my liking.

Just done a google on  "  Download inSSIDer3 " and got directed to TECH SPOT site  for inSSIDer 3.1.2.1
inSSIDer for Home gives you visibility into your Wi-Fi environment.
It gives 4 O.S. choices and it says " Windows Free"  so choose that one... 
(unless, of course, you have not got windows ! ! !)...
