It doesn't like Adblock Latitude in Pale Moon X64 running under Windows 10 build 16353.1000 Funny

I must have been really bad in a previous life as this was my 3rd ISP in a row that used lithium.
Now you're stuck with me because my new ISP doesn't run a forum Cheesy

Just to add - and I need to check in the morning - I think that the Win 7 machine may be using the 64 bit version of Firefox

Tried 32 bit version and the same result so it must be something to do with how Windows 10 handles it

I think I have isolated the problem

Disabling javascript sorts it so I assume it is something to do with how Windows 10 handles javascript as compared to Windows 7

Re: Why does this site object to Adblock and Adblock Plus on Win 7 but not on Win 10

using windows 7 64bit here - tested site no complaint about adblock.
using windows 10 64bit at home - tested site no complaint about ablock.

i use uBlock Origin though (which is far superior to either Adblock or Adblock Plus IMO)

Re: Why does this site object to Adblock and Adblock Plus on Win 7 but not on Win 10

installed YesScript and blacklisted the site which sorted it

will try Ublock Origin and see how that copes

EDIT

Confirmed that also sorted it so will stick with that for the time being

UPDATE

Checked using YesScript and it blocked the comments being read so not an option

Interesting thing from Ublock Origin - following a link from Google Shopping search

yes it's doing it's job there.
googleadservices is used for ads and is also used when linking from google shopping links.

just click on temprarily and it'll send you to the original page.
