Which router?

I want to buy a router for several reasons.  I want to be able to use RouterStats for a start.
So which router should I buy?  Any opinions anyone?

Might be worth looking at some of the dual purpose devices that can work on both ADSL & fibre, be a shame to buy a decent / high spec router then find its useless if / when you upgrade to a fibre service in the future.

Certain parts of central London will not get fibre for the foreseeable future....

Re: Which router?

I lived at the other end of a not very long street and they put a cabinet outside my door.  This end of the street doesn't connect to it or any other fibre cabinet.  A bit weird but I don't suppose it matters as long as an ADSL connection works most of the time.
