Where has Character Map gone?

At some stage or another, Character Map appears to have vanished from my XP system, so I can't now use symbols such as the one for degrees. Any ideas anyone? Huh

Re: Where has Character Map gone?

Try going to start > run and then type in 'charmap' without the 's
It should load.

Re: Where has Character Map gone?

Thanks for that Chris. Did what you suggested but windows couldn't find it. So, I ran a search for charmap and it came up with charmap.exe which loads it. Problem solved. Smiley

Re: Where has Character Map gone?

Yes artmo, that's where it should have been, but it had diappeared from there and couldn't be found elsewhere. Having found the exe file in the system32 dll cache from a search, I was able to drag and drop it into System Tools and it now loads fine. Thanks for your response.
