What is wrong with this picture

There are several similar to this, bad coding practices

From what I can see the Status is OK in the Service Status pages http://usertools.plus.net/status/archive/ ; and only wrong in the RSS feed?  Indeed if you click on the link in the RSS feed, you will see the correct version.
IIRC  The code used for the task of generating the XML is quite old and may need a bit of tlc,  but it could take some time to rise to the top of the priority pile.
