Similarly, when I look into my on line blocked spam folder I only see things blocked on my main plusnet address. I would like to view them all.
However, I don't want to change my usual download arrangments to my PC, so I have not changed my "catch all status" to on.
Any advice appreciated.
Thanks

Quote from: grecian How do I get IMAP?
Errr............
I think there may be a slight misunderstanding here. IMAP is just "there" (if implemented by the mail server).
BUT to use it you need to use an email client, not just web access.
Thunderbird is an email client (i.e. a program) as is Outlook Express, Windows Mail, Outlook, etc. etc.
Personally I access loads of nominally web-based email accounts at one time using Windows Live Mail Desktop Client, but like all the above it's a program that you have to install.
Hope that clarifies things.

references to Force 9 will be Plusnet in your case.
The settings I have are as follows:
Thunderbird Tools->Account Settings
Click on the Account Name line in the left-hand pane
Entries in the main pane
Account Name - xxxx
Your Name & Email Address have appropriate entries
Outgoing Server (SMTP) has Force9 SMTP relay (Default) for me
The other fields are empty
Click on Server Settings
Server Type POP Mail Server (not an entry field)
Server name is mail.force9.net for me (mail.plus.net for you)
Port is 110
User Name is the name I use to login to the Member Centre
Use secure connection: Never radio button is selected
Use secure authentication is *not* ticked
Server settings are (from the top) tick, tick, tick, blank, blank, tick
Local directory is a location set up by Thunderbird
The remaining account settings are what one would expect, Security has no entries.
Down at the bottom,
Outgoing Server (SMTP) is set as follows
Click the Force9 SMTP relay (Default) entry, then click Edit
The entries I have are
Description Force9 SMTP relay
Server Name relay.force9.net (yours will be relay.plus.net)
Port 25
Security and Authentication
Tick against Use name and password
User Name: the name I use to login to the Member Centre
Use secure connection
The No radio button is selected, having something else selected seems to be a common mistake.
I created and sent a message
A window opened requesting my password for that username (which is, of course, my Member Centre login password). I didn't tick the "save this password" box, only because I didn't want to.
The message was then sent.
