When you now click on the Back button

It automagicaly refreshes the page, thus eliminating old info on that page
Easiest way to try to re-enact it is
click to reply to a post, type your message, post message then press the back button or use Alt + left arrow key

The other issue is not restoring session tabs after closing the browser down
Have they removed the setting or am I inadvertently overlooking it ?

I am seriously thinking of reverting back to 28.0

If the Restore Previous Session tab hasn't appeared (it has so far since installing 29) then I get it through History by pressing the left Alt key.

Is there a page on Mozilla for previous versions? Can't find.
TORPC mentioned reverting to 28.
I actually want to go back to the last 27 version. (Haven't been able to get to any BBC pages, or Twitter, or Mozilla, etc., since update to 28. Tried all usual firewall related remedies. Its only a Firefox prob.)
Don't fancy 29 much by the sound of it.

When I installed it on my main PC I didn't really like it and almost immediately installed Classic Theme Restorer.
After updating my laptop I decided to leave 'as is' and am getting used to it as I'm away from home so not using the main PC. Wonder how I will feel when I get back to it

Part intrigued to see if it was 28 that caused the weird probs. If they remain with the old 27 then might give 29 a go.
Now need to jump to Mac dept with another question...

Quote from: drj It's not an anomaly, but I have to say FF28 is much faster and more responsive on my XP machine
I meant 29 of course. No problems with the speed of the program now and the memory hogging nature previously seems like it might have gone.
