WP Lumia 535 connectivity issues
I have a WP Lumia 535 that cannot connect to the updater, apparently a frequent
problem.
Can I connect it directly to the router & if so how would I do this?
For those folks contemplating purchasing the Lumia 535, I would advise caution!
Microsoft are not interested & the seller blames Microsoft.
Lots of complaints on the internet about this connectivity issue and a £90
phone is considered an "entry level phone"

My mother has had her Lumia 535 for several months now - its a unlocked generic UK firmware version, the phone has performed faultlessly & has received several updates from Microsoft since she has had it.
The Lumia 535 is one phone up from the entry level 435.
£90 for a Lumia 535
they have been on sale from several high street shops much cheaper then that, my mother only paid £50 from Carphone warehouse on a pay as you go upgrade deal

Are you trying to update over mobile network OR WiFi?
There is always the recovery tool BUT back up ALL your data BEFORE you use it!
