WIA Scanner

Hi folks
I have windows 7 and my scanner software will not work with it.  Does anyone know where i could get a hold of WIA software?

It is a mustek bearpaw 2448ta pro.  This is the second time I have installed win7, the first time I managed to get the scanner to work in a basic mode - I think it was a WIA application.

Mustek say they are not going to do a driver for this scanner.  It did work before but I cannot remember how I got it to work.

If you installed Windows 7 over your old Windows 7 then there may be a Windows.old folder with your old files in it so the drivers file you used previously may be there.  Or perhaps you made a backup of your old files?  Adiewoo seems to think you are too careless to have done that but I wonder if you are just not thinking through how to retrace the steps of what you did previously?

Obviously not as they are here asking for help, so not sure of the point of your post exactly?

This was one of the issues that made me drop M$ s/w, my printer & scanner weren't supported in Vista and wouldn't be, I wasn't about to splash out for new kit when the stuff was working fine. And still is 
If it worked before I would do a google for "Win7 mustec bearpaw 2448ta pro driver" or similar
