I've been reading up about possible problems with Vista x64 and Java but there seems to be conflicting information. I've read that it works with some sort of workaround and I've also read that it doesn't work at all. I haven't installed Java yet because I don't want to mess up my Vista installation which appears to be running quite nicely. Would anyone care to comment about any possible problems? Regards .....
Think it's a case of things getting blown out of proportion, as usual. This is a good explanation (look at the date!): http://weblogs.java.net/blog/chet/archive/2006/10/java_on_vista_y.html I develop with Java for my job and haven't come across any issues with the latest versions.
