Vista SP2 - 32 bit / 64 bit

I just received the update notification for Vista SP2 and the size astounded me - 564.3MB to 567.3MB - so I checked and found that the standalone download for the 32bit version is 348MB and for the 64 bit version 577MB
Any idea as why the enormous difference.
Will be downloading the file not using the updater but only starting late at night as it would knock a big hole in my 15GB allowance

I'm a morning person myself Jim. I do my large downloads at the weekend before 8. I get up about 7:15, start the download and make SWMBO a coffee.
Managed to get 2 x ~700 Mb Ubuntu downloads done on Sunday in about 35 mins!

That is twice as fast as my peak download speed

343.9mb on windows update for me
looks like its a pack to make the upgraded to W7 easy and less problematic rather than actual improvments to vista.
unless of cause adding native blue ray recording needs 340mb's worth of update
hum been stuck on 12% download since i started typing

25 mins to download(2500kbps) and install on 32 bit. The joys of being a night owl PN customer
