Virtual Memory

I just wondered if I should increase my virtual memory at the moment it stands at Initial Size 175  Maximum Size !500,A message  came up the other day saying that it was increasing my virtual memory on my computer iif it needs to be increased how do I increase it.

Need to know the following before we can answer...
Windows version?
How much memory do you have?
For XP I tend to use 1.5x memory up to a max of 2GB and I tend to set it as the min/max value so the swap space does not fragment.

I have XP windows and my memory is 1GB

Personally I just leave it on system managed so it can shrink and grow as needed

Do you have a second drive or partition as setting the virtual pagefile to another drive can help performance
