Virgin Cable & Belkin Router

Hi all
I am heading to my sisters later and she has Virgin Cable Broadband. She currently plugs in an ethernet cable when she uses her laptop as she didnt take a wireless router when she signed up.
My question is....I have an old Belkin Wireless G Router lying around (with built in ADSL) can i use this router as a bridge to allow her to use its wireless capabilities?
Thanks in advance
Mark

Re: Virgin Cable & Belkin Router

Maybe, maybe not - it depends what the particular router can do. Do you have a manual for it, or a model number?

Re: Virgin Cable & Belkin Router

In general the answer is likely to be probably not, or only with a lot of detailed command-line tinkering with the configuration.
