VNC server for android phone - without root?

and preferably free or cheap!

I want to be able to connect to and control my phone directly from the PC so that i don't need to spend ages burning my eyes out trying to do fiddly things on the phone that would be easier on a full size keyboard.

Any recommendations?

what are you trying to achieve?

MightyText for example will allow you to send SMS messages and transfer images etc. that's free and I found it very good ( I do miss it having been forced to iOS)

Airdroid has a free option which allows you to control parts of your phone.

Contacts can be updated through google contacts, assuming it's sync'd.

There's a web portal for WhatsApp / facebook messenger.

So many a combination of those things - can't think of what else you'd want to do directly on your phone if you weren't out and about.

 But to be more precise, go into settings, adjust things, tinker in general. Yes I'm aware of the whatsapp web (very cool) and do use that myself but that does not allow me direct control of the phone.

You tried team viewer? (on play)
Or servers unlimited (the pro ver is free on Amazon underground)

I've given up trying to edit url's on this board. THREE TIMES I wrote this and it kill it each time.
