Using two computers

I have the basic plusnet broadband package.  Is it possible to use two computers under the one broadband connection, either at the same time or seperately.

Re: Using two computers

welcome to the forum
I have had four on line at the same time, but each takes it own share, so if one is doing a traffic intensive it might slow the others down

Re: Using two computers

Yes
You can connect as many computers as your router will support
Either - 1 on USB and 1 on RJ45
Or - 4 on RJ45
many by wireless
It all depends on the router.
But you can only have one router/modem connected to the line at one time.
If you can advise the router you have we will be able to give more specific guidance

Re: Using two computers

it is also possible to have one on your router from home and others at remote locations not using your phone line

Re: Using two computers

Thanks for your replies.  It is a Thomson wireless router, I think it's the 585v7 and the computers I would use are both wireless laptops.
