Re: Upgrade to SSD Help

i have a static IP and i was moved to the new network quite some time ago.
i opted in after being PMd asking if i wanted to move and see how it went.

to be honest, if there has been any issues i haven't noticed them.
my download speeds via usenet always reach the max possible on my line, and if it only affects certain things then i've never noticed.

@SpendLessTime Any idea how long for the change to take effect ?

No time is published I'm afraid but I feel it is only a matter of hours. You need to restart the router once it has been completed (technically you need to stop and start the PPPoE session but a reboot of the router is probably safer)

The change went through instantaneously, I just had to drop the session.

Re: Upgrade to SSD Help

Well, it appears to be working fine now, so lets assume that this is the busyiest part of the week and if it was going to play up it would have by now.

Thanks for all your thoughts and comments guys on the SSD's and other hardware, I've learned a bit more and gained a static ip
