These were forum style user names/passwords that were revealed.

The SMF forum's been hacked in a similar manner, which may or may not be related to the fact that one of their admins used the same login on the ubuntu forum.

Oh dear oh dear using the same user/password on different sites. Who would have thought to do that
I use LastPass to generate random passwords for each site, I will normally generate a special email addy for that site, or use one of my disposable ones.
