Turning router off for a long period

Hi all. It says in the manual that the router should not be turned off. If I need to have my electrics turned off for a long time - weeks maybe - will this cause a problem with the router when reconnecting? Will it reconnect automatically? Many thanks if you can clarify this for me.

Re: Turning router off for a long period

Hi and welcome,
It won't cause any problem at all, it will reconnect automatically. It's just not recommended to turn the router on & off repeatedly.
