Troubles with using Google Mail in Thunderbird
This what happens with the tests I made. From Plusnet (PN) email address to Google Mail (GM)
Mail gets in to both the GM in box Thunderbird (TB) and that in GM.
However mail in TB in box does not include text of message.
From GM within TB to PN email address
Messages do not get through then several hours later appear in the GM inboxes witout message text. Same thing with incoming messages from external source, in this case Google Groups. Copies are absent from sent box in TB and actually there is no sent box in TB. Copies in GM site sent box.
From GM own site to PN address
Arrives safely with message text.
Copy including text in GM site sent box.
I have looked at the TB settings for GM and they appear to conform.
Has anyone suggestions? It’s so frustrating as before I had to uninstall and reinstall TB everything was hunky-dory. I have thought of completely uninstalling GM, but cannot find how to do that! Goes anyone know? If I could, might it help?
