Thompson TG585 v8 firmware update not possible from Apple Mac

Hi,
Not sure if this is the right forum to ask this.
Is it possible for Plusnet to update the firmware on our Thompson TG585 v8 remotely? We are currently running firmware 8.2.7.7 and I have only just realised that a WiFi problem we are having with one of our Apple Macs and iPhone is due to the firmware currently in the router. But it appears that this is fixed in the latest firmware but it is not possible to update the firmware from an Apple Mac! We have no access to a PC.

Hi annapp,
Yes, I can do that. Your router will be offline for about 10 minutes while I do it, so just let me know when it's convenient.

Thanks for that, everything seems be working fine and now my iPhone connects to my iMac via WiFi so far with no problems!
Odd problem as it would connect to our other slightly older iMac OK but to connect to this one I would have to disable encryption on the router first, make the connection then re-enable the encryption.
Anyway hopefully everything will be OK now.

I have a similar problem to annapp. I'm currently running linux mint 11 and don't have access to a pc running windows.
So is it possible for Plusnet to update the 8.2.7.7 firmware currently running on my Thompson TG585 v8 remotely?
