The message has gone away but there's no way of telling if the application has updated itself or whether anything else has happened.
Can't say I'm impressed by the apparent amateurism of this procedure!

Andrew (aka MrSaffron) thinkbroadband here.
This bug only affected the user display of results, not the collection for the ISPA testing I should point out.
For those curious as to what their numbers are there is a CSV you can access at
C:\Windows\System32\config\systemprofile\AppData\Local\tbbSpeedTester
and if it has an entry called Multithread you know the software has been upgraded and a test subsequently ran. For the impatient just check the version number of the file
C:\Program Files (x86)\thinkbroadband.com\tbbSpeedTester2013\TesterLibrary.dll
It should be version 1.0.0.8 if you have had the upgrade, the installer suppliers version 1.0.0.5
The wide variation in results, is very likely down to the TCP Ramp not having fully finished for some testers when the smallest 2MB test file is used as a pre-test to decide how many threads to use in the multiple thread test. The analysis in the Display Info window is very simplistic and does not feature reflect the full analysis that is done at the conclusion of the testing.

Why does mine say 1.0.0.29 ?
Ignore the above - I checked the program instead of the dll as you said:)

TesterLibrary.dll is version 1.0.0.8 (replaces the shipped 1.0.0.5) this is the file that has been updated.
tbbSpeedTesterService.exe is version 1.0.0.36

tbb says 29Mbps down, speedtest.net says 72 Mbps.
It's run 2 tests. Not been updated yet.
