Have you any idea how much power that setup draws?
How much power did the laptop draw?
I used to have several machines setup running various services and it was quite useful. Then I worked out how much it was costing me in electricity each year and comparing that with how much I used any of it decided it wasn't worth it. Especially when you consider how much cloud storage/bandwidth you can get for the same cost.

I never tested to see how much the laptop draws, I am sure it was somewhere around 30 watts with the screen off.
Power consumption is a bit of a problem with the servers at about 350 watts 24/7 but I still live having them, especially the Citrix server for testing things.
Everything has been returned tom the attic, updated video now available:
