Text size on monitor.

I find the default a bit too small for my eyes. Using zoom improves it temporarily, but is there a way to alyer the defualt size permanently, that anyone can suggest? I use XP Home SP3 and LG L1710B monitor.

No one has to agree with my opinion, but in the time I have left a miracle would be nice.

Display settings > Appearance > Text size - choose large
