Telephone socket info required

I have some telephone sockets - Type LJ3/2A and LJ5/2A
These seem to be master sockets of some description, but can they also be used as extension sockets?
I can'd find a simple answer to this simple question.

Yes if you remove the components - quick soldering iron job, or snips!

Well that kills off that idea!
I would be restricted to use them for own purposes then and I have plenty of genuine extension sockets, but I'm trying to sell them.
Not worth the effort for the price they would fetch after unapproved modifications.
Look out for some on Ebay if you want any.

They are PBX master sockets so you may find someone that interested in buying them but don't hold you breath.

Thanks for replies.
I've just sold a few, but another 30 or so to get rid of.
Will stick 'em on Ebay and hope for the best.
More likely they will become landfill.
