Task Scheduler

I've been playing around with Task Scheduler to set a reboot of the PC while out after downloads have been installed so that I don't have to do that when I get home. No particular reason apart from it can be done Cheesy
What I also want to do at the same time is have WinAmp run (that in itself shouldn't be difficult) but I want it to actually start playing all files in a particular folder.
I've found references of how to do this with a playlist but I don't use them.
Any ideas, please?

Re: Task Scheduler

Create your playlist by adding files to the list and then save that list as a file (.m3u iirc) from winamp via the manage playlist button. Then just point the task scheduler to that file - when executed winamp will run that file and start playing.
Sorry I can't do screenshots, everytime i hit printkey winamp closes the menu i'm trying to capture  Roll_eyes

Re: Task Scheduler

http://www.irfanview.net/ has very good screen capture options.

Re: Task Scheduler

You're missing the point - winamp blocks the print screen key  Roll_eyes
No other tool that relies on it is going to be of any use is it.

Re: Task Scheduler

No you are
Irfanview doesn't use it
However I prefer FastStone Image Viewer which doesn't use it either http://www.faststone.org/FSViewerDetail.htm

Re: Task Scheduler

Thanks guys.
I didn't realise I did have a playlist (not saved, though) - it simply contained all the songs in my music folder (almost 7000).
Back to the Task Scheduler...
Been searching how to get WinAmp to run at startup while parsing the (now saved) PlayList to automatically start:
Seems that I can edit the WinAmp Desktop shortcut Target to : "D:\Program Files (x86)\Winamp\winamp.exe" "E:\My Music\All files playlist.m3u8" the place a copy in the StartUp menu. Does that sound correct?

As Irfanview allows you to choose any key or key combination to trigger the capture, if winamp can block it that must mean that all other applications are unable to receive keystrokes while winamp is running. That isn't my experience!

Not tried it but winamp should be associated with that file anyway so the moment it's executed it's passed to winamp.exe by windows automatically.
