TalkTalk Speedtouch 585v7

Hi,
I got a thomson TG585V7 from ebay, thinking i could use it with plusnet. Now, i need the PLUSNET router firmware for it to work (according to someone) Is there any way i could get that Firmware? (Ive got the Thomson update software) and, luckuly i have my Netgear DG834G to use until i get that firmware

You shouldnt need the PlusNet specific f/w, the standard Thomson f/w will work ( unless your router is locked to TalkTalk ! ).

You may find though, that if it is locked, you may not be able to upgrade the f/w.

It appears that it may be possible to unlock them, with a bit of brute force and ignorance. The possibility of bricking it looks high though!
