OK
Maybe I'm having a particularily bad day but how do I change the IP address of the Thompson TG585 that Plusnet just shipped me?
192.168.1.254 is not what I want, or need it to be, and I need to be able to change it but the paperwork PN supply is minimal and I've gone round and round on the interface and can't find it.
Updated: I've found it... they buried it quite well. Seems odd to hide it down in the depths but.....

I'd be interested what IP you'd want to change it to because I have had problems setting mine up.

I needed to change it to 192.168.0.66 so that I could drop it in to replace my old Dlink. Once I'd found out where to add the new IP address it all went well
It actually seems quite good and has pretty good line stats:
Output Power (Up/Down) [dBm]: 11.5 / 18.0
Line Attenuation (Up/Down) [dB]: 29.0 / 47.0
SN Margin (Up/Down) [dB]: 30.0 / 22.0
Which I think means I might be able to look at going to Max rather than sitting on a mix 2Mbit line which I had to with the Dlink

With a 47dB attenuation you should be able to get around 4500kbps, according to this. Well worth doing.
