TCP/UDP won't save

Hi

I am trying to set up port forwarding on a 2704n.

I need to use both protocols TCP/UDP.

I set up the rule, Apply the changes and click OK but when I go back and look at the rule (by clicking Edit) the protocol has reverted to just UDP.

I have tried with Internet Explorer and with Firefox.

My router firmware version is 7.275.2_F2704N_Plusnet.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Tony

Re: TCP/UDP won't save

This is off the top of my head !!

You saved the rule, did you allocate it to a device ?

Re: TCP/UDP won't save

Hi

Thanks for the reply.

The rule is allocated to a DVR.

Just don't understand why it lets me choose both protocols but won't save the choice!

Re: TCP/UDP won't save

This is a known issue with the 2704n. Best to get yourself another router or speak to Technical support about getting a Hub 1 sent out.

Re: TCP/UDP won't save

I have the same issue on this router but UDP still works for my Avtech DVR system

Re: TCP/UDP won't save

As above, request a hub one or buy something more suitable if you are relying on it for home security. That router has about the same quality has a Kinder Surprise toy Smiley

However, I'm assuming this is to log into the web interface for the DVR and stream the camera feed? If so you shouldn't really need TCP for that as I doubt it will be using SSL or anything.
