Syncing to an Ipod Touch

I suspect this is a forlorn hope, but is there a way to sync an Ipod Touch to the Thunderbird address book and calendar?

In all seriousness, I don't think there is a straightforward way to do this at the moment

A quick search on Google suggests synching Thunderbird with Google's address book etc., which can then sync natively with the device whenever it's got a network connection.

mmmm That sounds feasible. Although I'd probably try the Yahoo address book.  I'll let you know the outcome.

OK. Itunes can be set to sync with the Yahoo address book.  Now all I need to do is work out how to sync the Thunderbird address book withYahoo!
