Switching off TABS in IE7

I have got IE6 running at the moment, I am also running Firefox....
I did upgrade to IE7 but didn`t like the tabs, so reverted to IE6.
When I first ran Firefox, it had tabs, but I found out that it was/is possible to disable/switch off the tabs when browsing.....
Question.... Can you switch off/disable tabs in IE7?
(if so,  how?)
thanks

Re: Switching off TABS in IE7

Its
Tools -> Internet Options -> General -> Tabs -> Settings
You can turn it on and off there

Re: Switching off TABS in IE7

Select Tools then Internet Options
Under the General tab click on the Settings button by Tabs.
Uncheck Enable Tabbed Browsing
Press OK a few times and exit IE7.
When you restart IE7 the tabs will have gone.

Re: Switching off TABS in IE7

O.K. Chaps.... Thanks very much..... will go away and play with IE7 now....  got to have it sooner or later I suppose, so might as well get used to it.....
Now I know how to do it, I`ll check out the missus laptop, as she doesn`t seem to know, (even after telling her zillions of times) to close the pages she isn`t interested in anymore...
