Stop Win 10 nagging you to upgrade

If you are like me, and have tried windows 10 downgrade, and then upgraded back to your Win 7 or Win 8.1 ....... you will still be "nagged" about upgrading via the Windows updater and also KB3035583...
You can uninstall that .... but it will be there the next time you do your updates... and probably, you will have the W10 icon back on your task bar....
Well, I have found this site....
http://www.dedoimedo.com/computers/windows-7-to-10-gwx-how-to-remove.html
And I used method 1 and 2 ... and now I don`t have the NAG screen.... and the KB3035583 is just "lurking" as an Important update... which I refuse to tick for install.....
Ah... peace at last.....
(that is, until Microsoft send me another spam email telling me how good windows 10 is.... .....  .....  but then I can, at least just ignore/delete on receipt.....  Smiley )

Is it not possible to just right-click on KB3035583 and select 'Hide Update' as with any other update you don't want?  Huh

not sure.... maybe...  Undecided
Probably best not to hide it... and keep it where you can see it... then you KNOW you are not going to install it.... !

Safer to hide it! There is a simple option on the left hand menu to restore hidden updates in the unlikely event that you did want to install them.
