Still on broadband premier option 1

I'm still on BB premier option 1. Should I upgrade to the new "Broadband option 3"? Seems like it's £2 less a month and has an extra 10GB.
Is there a catch? (Apart from not being automatically upgraded! :D)
Thx

Re: Still on broadband premier option 1

peak time hours are shorter prem is 8am -> midnighty, BBYW option 3 is 4pm -> midnight. If you don't do much during the day then that is not a problem.
Traffic management is different but not by much.
I'm still on prem option 1 and am happy to stay as I am.

Crumbs that's a bit sneaky - good job I asked I suppose! My PC's in my room so leaving it on to download during the night isn't an option - I let it do it until 4 PM.
If I upgraded would i get the free 4 port wireless router? My d-link 604t is... pants.
thanks

Yes, but you will have to ask for it and accept the T&C that come with it.

Shouldn't that be
Peak hours: BBYW is 8am -> midnight, Premier Option 1 is 4pm -> midnight.

Santiago is right Peter got his peak hours the wrong way round I think!
You can still get the wireless router without upgrading if you agree to sign up for a year  and pay 6.99 P&P

you have to stay for a year - not sign up, if you leave early you will be charged per month on the cost of the router Smiley

Re: Still on broadband premier option 1

I would just get a router off Ebay They are cheap enough and there is lots to choose from.
The routers plusnet are sending out seem to be problematic anyway.
