A good straight forward web mail from Plusnet but why no spell checker? Is there an available add-on?

As you may know, Squirrelmail was originally used as a stop-gap following the security breach. Like yourself, many people have reported that they like it, particularly as it is clear and simple to use.
Since then, some amendments have been made, notably the spam reporting features but alternatives to SM are currently being looked at so further development may not be on the cards for now.
Hopefully, when a new one is decided upon, it will have the spellchecker that you require.

If you are using IE6 or 7 you can install iespell -
www.iespell.com
With FF you can add a dictionary add-in that will spell check as you type.
I would guess that IE7 has some sort of spell check add-n but I don't use IE7 much.

We await the arrival of new improved Plusnet Mail (squirrel). I currently use Fastmail for web mail which is pretty sophisticated but could swop if basic needs, spell check and maybe POP access, are incorporated - even if a small fee is involved. Nice to have everything under one roof.
