I have been checking my download speeds whilst downloading video clips from youtube... !
They start off in a rush..... then gradually slow down as the time passes, and the amount left to download gets less... examples
start off 135 kbps on a 7mb video file..... as time progresses, the speed gradually drops and at half way point it is about 55kbps.....
Can anyone explain why?
I am only downloading one video at a time, and not doing any other operations on the laptop whilst downloading.... my line speed is 1.38 mbps download, and my upload speed is 0.38 mbps with a Ping time of 56ms.
(these figures are pretty constant... no matter what time of day I do the test)
I am not that worried about it.... just curious.....
